Hello, hello! Happy Friday, friends. If you’re local to Atlanta, let’s all take a moment of appreciation for the shining sun this afternoon! Y’all, this past week has been a rollercoaster of WEATHER. Sigh…. but, hey, we’re thankful to have a roof over our badass office space! If you haven’t seen our current setup, go check our latest post on Instagram! @starr.social

 

While you’re there, you’ll see we have a few new faces around here, including ME! My name is Traci and I am so excited to be a new team member with Starr Social. A little bit about me real quick…. some would say I spend too much time on social media; some would say I’m actually quite obsessed! I’m gonna go ahead and say I agree with both. Lol. Long story short, I’ve claimed social media as a pretty solid hobby of mine, dating back to the ol’ MySpace days, and now here I am utilizing it to my advantage (and yours!) as a career!

 

In my personal life, I’m a proud mama to an amazing 5-year-old girl (can time slow down, pls?) and we’ve got two perfect pups - a Goldendoodle named Magnolia and a Maltipoo named Fender! I have an incredible boyfriend of two years, and we love to split our free time between here in the city and out at Lake Oconee.

 

Y’all, I am truly so honored to be here! I’m eager to learn more about all of our wonderful clients here at Starr Social and to partake in the opportunity of bringing on many more!

Meet - Abigail Fisher, Owner

Hi friends! Welcome to the brand NEW Starr Social blog! Where you will learn about our team’s daily lives and fun facts about social media that you might not know already! To get started, I wanted to tell you a little about myself and how I started this company from ground zero!

What began as an unthinkable idea, turned into the REAL deal on January 15th of 2020……I decided to start my own marketing company! I was definitely worried about failing but took a leap into the social media world that I have come to love. I was a stay-at-home mom (still am..ha don’t ask me how) for an almost 1-year-old, and started this company from my living room/office. It started out small with only a few clients, but in the first few months, it grew exponentially to nearly 20 clients. Through trial and error, I felt like I was really getting the hang of owning my own business. Come November of 2020, I was handling at least 30 clients on my own….ALL. BY. MY. SELF! Omg, it was hard! That was the time I decided I needed some help, so I hired my BFF, Cameron! She was a life-saver. Soon after, hitting my one-year work anniversary, I decided to hire 3 interns who will be making Marketing Associates soon!
